What is TANUKI: Pon's Summer?

TANUKI: Pon's Summer is a casual, single-player simulation from developer Denkiworks and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX. The Tanuki Festival is a month away and the shrine is in disrepair, so Pon — a well-meaning if slightly lazy tanuki — spends his summer delivering mail by BMX, meeting the island's residents and earning rewards to restore the shrine. Between deliveries there are invitations everywhere: pouring drinks at the bar, sumo practice, bug catching, fishing and over 100 BMX trick challenges across the island's streets and rooftops.

Every page on this wiki is written from saved official sources: the game's Steam store page and the eight developer announcements posted there. When something is not confirmed — the price, a physical Switch edition, exact fishing controls — we say so plainly instead of guessing. The game launches on November 10, 2026, and the wiki will be updated as concrete details arrive.
