TANUKI: Pon’s Summer Price: What It Costs to Buy

As of 2026-11-05, no TANUKI: Pon's Summer price has been announced: the official Steam page lists the game as coming soon with no price shown. The game releases on November 10, 2026, so there are still a few days before a final cost appears. Preorders are open on Xbox and Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, and those store listings are where a preorder price, if any, will be visible first.

What the store pages actually show

The official Steam page currently shows the game's release date, genres (Casual, Indie, Simulation), and feature list — single-player, Steam Achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing — but no purchase button or price tag. The developer, Denkiworks, and publisher, CRITICAL REFLEX, have announced the November 10 date in their October 28 Steam announcement, and that announcement covers platforms and preorder status but does not name a dollar or euro amount for any edition.

For PC buyers, that means the practical answer is: wait for the Steam listing to update on or just before November 10, then the price will be right on the store page next to the buy button.

• Open the official Steam page and look for the price next to the release date once the coming-soon tag lifts.
• If you play on console, check the Xbox or Nintendo Switch store listings, where preorders are already open and a price should be displayed.
• Watch the @denkiworks and CRITICAL REFLEX accounts on X, where the team says pricing and launch news will be posted first.

Can you play part of it free before paying?

Yes. A free demo on Steam covers the game's entire opening chapter, and the first three in-game days of demo progress carry over to the full game when you transfer your save after release. That gives you a real stretch of the game at no cost, so you can decide whether to buy before spending anything.

• If you prefer a cartridge, the Switch physical edition page covers what is known about a boxed release.
