TANUKI: Pon’s Summer Nintendo Switch Store Availability

Preorders for TANUKI: Pon's Summer are open on Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2, according to the developer's release date announcement posted on the official Steam page. The game launches on November 10, 2026, and that announcement, dated October 28, 2026, is where the Switch store availability was confirmed. Both the original Switch and the Switch 2 are supported, so whichever system you own, you can preorder now and play on launch day.

Switch store and supported systems

The October 28, 2026 release date announcement from developers Denkiworks and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX states that "preorders are open on XBOX and Nintendo Switch 1 & Nintendo Switch 2." That single line answers both parts of the question:

• Store availability: yes, the game is preorderable on the Switch eShop as of November 5, 2026.
• Supported systems: two — the original Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

Note that the Steam store page itself lists Windows as its platform, because that page covers the PC version. The Switch versions are sold through Nintendo's storefront, and the Switch confirmation comes from the same announcement post on that Steam page rather than a separate Switch listing checked directly.

If you would rather play on other hardware, the same announcement says the game is "also coming to PlayStation," alongside PC and Xbox, all on the November 10, 2026 release date.

Does the game support both Switch and Switch 2?

Can I carry over demo progress to the Switch version?

Checked November 5, 2026 against the official Steam store page and the developer's release date announcement (October 28, 2026) hosted there. The preorder confirmation for Switch 1 and Switch 2 comes from that announcement; the Switch eShop listing itself (price, download size, region availability) has not been independently verified on Nintendo's storefront.
